Ann is originally from the North of Norway. She came to New Zealand in 1999, were she trained in osteopathic medicine. After graduating from the Masters programme at Unitec, she worked in Whangarei, before joining Papakura osteopaths in 2009. Ann treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints, acute and chronic. Ann also enjoys helping those who suffer from other complaints such as heartburn/reflux, constipation, incontinence and other complaints often not associated with musculoskeletal dysfunction. Ann also offers a practical approach when it comes to treating infants and children, having raised two of her own. She also has furthered her osteopathic knowledge through courses in paediatrics and obstetrics. Ann offers a wide variety of treatment approaches such as structural, myofascial, visceral and cranial osteopathy. The choice of treatment approach is dependent on the individual’s complaint and previous health history.
